GoDaddy founder, billionaire Bob Parsons, has decided to build the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealership in Scottsdale, AZ. The 146,000 square foot dealership will replace the old Chrysler dealership in Scottsdale Airpark, and will rival some of the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in Las Vegas and Daytona.
To put this into perspective, the average Walmart superstore measures 100,000 square feet.
If all goes well, the dealership will open in late spring, 2015. Unfortunately, according to an article published by azcentral, the dealership will not be finished in time for Arizona Bike Week, an event which usually takes place in late March, early April.

Bob Parsons already owns three motorcycle dealerships in town: Go AZ Motorcycles, Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale. In addition to his motorcycle dealerships, Parsons also owns a custom bike building company, Spooky Fast Customs, and the Scottsdale National Golf Club (formerly Golf Club of Scottsdale.)
One special feature of the new dealership will be its glass-walled work stations. This will allow customers to see the entire behind-the-scenes process of motorcycle maintenance.
Designed by KG Architects, the two-floor showroom will have a 20,000 square foot work station and an 87,000 square foot garage for underground parking and storage.
