Scottsdale’s Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) has more to offer than just its extensive, musical instrument collection. The MIM is also home to the MIM Music Theater, a lush concert hall tucked within the walls of the museum.
Keeping up with the MIM’s overall theme, the venue hosts a number of globally diverse musicians and performers.
Scottsdale is a great cultural hub – it’s one of the many reasons Scottsdale residents love living in the area as much as they do.

On top of the MIM’s already impressive resume, the MIM is planning to host the concert ‘Playing for Change’, a globally focused event “created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music”.
After filmmaker Mark Johnson brought over 100 musicians together in 2009 for the project, the show has taken off and proceeded to encourage collaborations between artists from all over the globe. Catch the show on June 25 at 7p.m.
