The Scottsdale Public Library is a great FREE resource for residents of Scottsdale, AZ, even those who live in Ancala. So, Don Matheson sat down with Ann Porter, the community relations coordinator for the Scottsdale Public Library to learn more about what our library system has to offer.

There are 5 libraries throughout Scottsdale with convenient access for all residents. Each library is unique. Many of the libraries are “green” being LEED certified. Some of the library services offered are online book reservations, drive up service, cafes and eating areas, meeting spaces and much more.

Your free library card allows you to check out library materials and gives you access to everything the libraries have to offer. The Scottsdale public libraries offer not only books but DVD’s, music CD’s, recorded books, magazines, newspapers, e-books and downloaded able audio books, computer classes, free public access computers, homework help and after school programs, events, exhibits, lectures, art collections, story time with children and classes for seniors.
