On Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th, Scottsdale residents are invited to Salt River Fields to take part in the 5th Annual Arizona Taco Festival. Tacos are just $2 each!
In addition to selling tacos, over 40 taco teams will be participating in a variety of taco contests that will be running throughout the day – for $10,000 in prize money.
The two-day event also includes live entertainment by local bands, a taco-eating contest, a chile pepper eating contest, arm-wrestling for tacos, a Chihuahua beauty pageant (you can register your dog in the event,) cooking classes, margaritas and much, much more.
On Saturday, there is a Tequila Expo where some of the world’s finest tequila’s will be available for tasting.
Last year approximately 25,000 people attended the 2-day event. General Admission is $12 per day or $20 for a two-day pass; kids 12 and under are free. Sounds like fun for the whole family!
