Scottsdale area residents, mark your calendar and start preparing for the Desert Botanical Garden bi-annual plant sale that starts on October 10 and runs through October 12. It’s 3 days, Friday (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) for Desert Botanical Garden members only, and for the general public on Saturday (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) and Sunday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
The Desert Botanical Garden is located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008, just east of South Scottsdale.
As its name indicates, this special sale happens only two times per year, in the spring and fall.
The bi-annual plant sale is a one-stop shopping event with the largest variety of desert plants available anywhere in the Valley. They have varieties you’ll recognize and some that will be new to you, including trees, shrubs, vines, cacti and agave.
Plants at the sale come in many sizes and delivery service is available. Garden volunteers and horticulturists will be on hand to help you select the best plants for your yard.
A good number of garden accessory retailers will be selling their products during the event.
