Every year, the Desert Botanical Garden, located just west of South Scottsdale, hosts a fall concert series on Friday nights through December. This year’s series includes jazz, blues and dance performances and starts on October 3rd.
Fall Concert Series Schedule for 2014:
- October 3rd – Flamenco por la Vida – a live dance performance
- October 10th – Bad Cactus Brass Band – Jazz
- October 17th – Turning Point – Jazz
- October 24th – Sugar Thieves – Blues
- October 31st – Tro de Mambo – Latin Jazz
The doors open at 5:00 pm. The concerts start at 7:00 pm, generally ending around 9:00 pm. Tickets are available on-line: $20 for DBG members and $25 for non-members.
You can enjoy dinner at Gertrude’s, an onsite restaurant serving farm fresh modern American Cuisine (reservations recommended) or have a bite to eat at the Patio Cafe with fully attended chef stations. There’s a cash bar with boutique wines served as well.
