- Stegosaurus

The Scottsdale Art Walk
There are more than 100 galleries in Scottsdale, and the ArtWalk – a tradition that’s more than 30 years old – runs every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. through the Old Town Scottsdale Art District. Admission is free and you’ll find plenty of live music, great food and more on your stroll.
The Sunday A’fair
Free concerts put on by the Valley’s best musicians, as well as an arts and crafts market and lots of activities for kids make up the Sunday A’fair on April 8. You can take docent-led sculpture tours in the park and get free admission to Scottsdale’s Museum of Contemporary Art that day, too.
Music in the Garden
April 6, 13 and 20, you can check out live performances in Desert Botanical Garden (the performers are Bluesman Mike and the Blues Review Band, Jaleo, and Papa John DeFrancesco and the Union Four, in that order). Check out these artists on the Ullman Terrace Stage.
Erika Lynne Hanson
Check out the amazing textile art of Erika Lynne Hanson at the Noriega Stable Livery in Old Town Scottsdale until April 3, when the exhibit ends. You can join in studio and flag workshops, beginner crochet classes and more before the artist moves on.
Western Edge
You’ll love the awe-inspiring Western Edge exhibit put on by the Scottsdale Gallery Association, which features emerging artists from the Greater Western region. It’s all contemporary art, so if that’s your style, be sure to check it out at Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.
