The 7 Most Unique Things to Do in Scottsdale
You’ll never be bored in Scottsdale, especially if you start ticking thins off this list of the seven most unique things to do in town. Some local favorites include:

Here’s a closer look at each.
Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts
The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts hosts more than 1,000 performances a year – and that means there’s likely something going on there when you’re ready to check it out. From Broadway shows and classical performances to dance, film, and jazz and blues concerts, you’ll find something to love on stage.

Wonderspaces Arizona is a year-round, evolving art show that rotates exhibits from all over the world. You’ll find photography, paintings, sculptures, light shows and even human-based art to enjoy when you visit – and each time you go, there’s something new to see and explore.
One of Scottsdale’s most popular local attractions, Butterfly Wonderland is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll learn about (and see) the lifecycle of a Monarch butterfly, as well as spend time in a gorgeous atrium filled with butterflies large and small – and most of them aren’t shy about landing on you or posing for pictures.
Public Art Walking Tour
Check out your own public art walking tour around Scottsdale, where you can explore fabulous outdoor pieces like The Bell, The Flower and The Wash, the Goldwater Bell and Traceries. You can even choose your tour based on which part of Scottsdale you’re in – including North Scottsdale and Central Scottsdale.
House of Broadcasting Museum
The House of Broadcasting Museum contains the state’s largest private collection of broadcast memorabilia. It hosts radio and television shows for holidays and other special events, and it’s one of only five museums in the entire country completely dedicated to the broadcast industry.
Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center
The Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center rescues, rehabilitates and releases animals back into the wild – and they allow you to book tours to see how a wild animal sanctuary really works. You must book a tour; you can’t simply show up! Try taking the Walk With Wildlife Tour, a Friday Night Twilight Tour or even practice yoga near Mexican gray wolves, Harris’s hawks and great horned owls.
Octane Raceway is the place to be for high-speed Go Kart racing, VR adventures, mini bowling and a full arcade. It’s fun for all ages, and there’s a restaurant – the Brickyard Grill – located in the adventure zone, too.
