Welcome to DC Ranch

Situated at the base of the McDowell Mountains, the DC Ranch is a highly sought-after Scottsdale community in North Scottsdale with homes that appeal to every lifestyle and age group. This master-planned community spans 4,000 acres and includes nearly every conceivable amenity within its boundaries. There are 3 distinctive shopping districts within the community. Market Street, Canyon Village, and DC Ranch Crossing, all with architecturally unique buildings that house upscale eating establishments, specialty boutiques, dry cleaning, coffee shops, fitness centers, daycare, grocery stores, and business offices.
 
More than 33 miles of biking and walking paths traverse and connect the neighborhoods. There are also 2 community centers, offering a community pool, splash pads for toddlers, a fitness facility, sports courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, and a community-run playhouse for theatre. Both community centers can be rented for special events. The DC Ranch Village Health Club and Spa – a private membership health club with a spa that is open to the public – is located at the southeast end of the community. Just south of the Village Health Club is the “Gateway Trailhead” of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy an access point for over 100 miles of hiking trails.
 

History

DC Ranch was formerly a cattle ranch, and much effort has been taken to preserve its rustic ranch history, evident through the design elements of the community. The quaint character of the neighborhood, as well as the unbeatable location just 5 minutes from the Loop 101 Freeway, are two key components to its popularity among all ages of residents.
 

Real Estate

This master-planned community is comprised of four villages: Country Club Village, Silverleaf Village, Desert Camp Village, and Desert Park Village. The neighborhood offers custom homes, designed by many locally renowned architects, as well as semi-custom homes, townhomes, patio homes, and condominiums to suit people with the most distinctive tastes.  All but one enclave is gated or guard-gated.  The first homes for sale were completed in 1998, and development continues today.
 

The Country Club at DC Ranch

DC Ranch is also home to an award-winning private golf club, The Country Club at DC Ranch. The golf course features an 18-hole, par-71 tract designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought that provides stunning views of the desert landscape, the McDowell Mountains, and the city on every hole. With slopes ranging from 123 to 137, the course was designed for all levels of players. Players can ride or walk this beautiful course. The hacienda-style clubhouse offers dining, swimming, fitness, and a very active tennis program on its 6 courts.
 

Schools

Within walking distance of many homes is Copper Ridge Elementary and Middle School, serving students in kindergarten through 8th grade. High school students in the area attend Chaparral High School. Also in close proximity to the neighborhood is Notre Dame Academy, a private high school.
