The 1,615 acre neighborhood includes pocket parks, city parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, grassy greenbelts as well as the Grayhawk trail system, which is beautifully landscaped for jogging, biking, or walking. The first homes were built in 1995, and today the community consists of over 3,700 homes. Bordering Grayhawk are two large retail plazas with a variety of boutiques, restaurants, and everyday amenities. Just across the street from the Grayhawk Golf Club is Isabella’s Kitchen, an eclectic casual restaurant that overlooks the golf course.

There are condos, townhomes, villas and detached homes, as well as a small enclave of custom homes.
Grayhawk Golf Club
The Grayhawk Golf Club combines two of the Southwest’s most thrilling public golf courses with the ambiance and service you would expect from a private club. Grayhawk can be enjoyed on a daily fee basis – there is no requirement for membership; you only pay when you play. The club is home to the Grayhawk Learning Center (previously named the Kostis/McCord Learning Center) for golf instruction. The 40,000 square foot clubhouse includes the Quill Creek Café and Phil’s Grill, The Morning Joint (Mojo’s) as well as a golf shop, locker rooms, and conference rooms.
The Talon Course, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, is a 7,000-yard, par 72 layout with dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains and is enjoyable to play. The Raptor course was designed by Tom Fazio and is one of the nicest daily-fee golf courses in the Valley. Raptor is a 7,108-yard par 72 course that presents an exceptional challenge. Both courses offer a variety of tee placements giving players at every skill level an opportunity for a fun day on the links.
