Legend Trail, located in the high Sonoran Desert near the north boundary of Scottsdale, is a low-density master-planned golf community set around Legend Trail Golf Club. The community covers about 640 acres – with about half of the land devoted to open space. Legend Trail Golf Club, a scenic, daily-fee golf course, was designed by Rees Jones and offers preferred rates for Legend Trail residents. The course also offers a John Jacobs Golf School, where you can learn to play or fine-tune your skills. The well-manicured course has 4 sets of tees, allowing players of every skill level to be challenged. The “Long Trail” plays at a distance of 6,845 yards; you’ll have to bring your “A” game to score well from these tees. The “Short Trail” plays at 5,000 yards. The Cantina at Legend Trail serves mouthwatering Southwestern and Mexican cuisine – you can enjoy the ambiance inside or dine outside on the patio and enjoy the view. Separate from the Golf Club and for residents only is a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse with a workout area, 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 pools, and a spa.
Schools
Legend Trail is part of the Cave Creek Unified School District. Students attend Desert Sun Academy, Sonoran Trails Middle School, and Cactus Shadows High School.
