Welcome to Grayhawk

Located in North Scottsdale, just north of the Loop 101 Freeway between Scottsdale Road and Pima Road, Grayhawk offers both the intimacies of a friendly neighborhood and the amenities of a master-planned community close to shopping and other essential services. The 1,615 acre neighborhood includes pocket parks, city parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, grassy greenbelts as well as the Grayhawk trail system, which is beautifully landscaped for jogging, biking, or walking. The first homes were built in 1995, and today the community consists of over 3,700 homes. Bordering Grayhawk are two large retail plazas with a variety of boutiques, restaurants, and everyday amenities. Just across the street from the Grayhawk Golf Club is Isabella’s Kitchen, an eclectic casual restaurant that overlooks the golf course.
 

Real Estate

Grayhawk features two distinct neighborhoods, The Retreat (with 2 distinct guard-gated neighborhoods, the Raptor Retreat and the Talon Retreat) and The Park. Homes for sale in Raptor Retreat and Talon Retreat are situated around the Raptor and Talon golf courses. Many of the home sites in these neighborhoods have golf courses or mountain views. Some of the neighborhoods offer community pools and tennis courts. The Park features amenities such as playgrounds, picnic ramadas, and grassy play areas. Grayhawk has real estate for everyone and every budget, from 1-bedroom condos under 1,000 square feet to custom homes larger than 6000 square feet. There are condos, townhomes, villas and detached homes, as well as a small enclave of custom homes.
 

Grayhawk Golf Club

The Grayhawk Golf Club combines two of the Southwest’s most thrilling public golf courses with the ambiance and service you would expect from a private club. Grayhawk can be enjoyed on a daily fee basis – there is no requirement for membership; you only pay when you play. The club is home to the Grayhawk Learning Center (previously named the Kostis/McCord Learning Center) for golf instruction. The 40,000 square foot clubhouse includes the Quill Creek Café and Phil’s Grill, The Morning Joint (Mojo’s) as well as a golf shop, locker rooms, and conference rooms.
 
The Talon Course, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, is a 7,000-yard, par 72 layout with dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains and is enjoyable to play. The Raptor course was designed by Tom Fazio and is one of the nicest daily-fee golf courses in the Valley. Raptor is a 7,108-yard par 72 course that presents an exceptional challenge. Both courses offer a variety of tee placements giving players at every skill level an opportunity for a fun day on the links.
 

Schools

Grayhawk is located in Paradise Valley Unified School District. The public schools serving Grayhawk are Grayhawk Elementary (conveniently located in the heart of the community), Mountain Trail Middle School, and Pinnacle High School. El Dorado, a private school for preschoolers to 8th graders, is located within the neighborhood as well.
 
There is a 13-acre City of Scottsdale park, Grayhawk Community Park, located just south of Eldorado School on 76th St. The park includes 2 lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted sand volleyball courts, 2 soccer fields, 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 lighted basketball courts, a playground, large open grassy areas, a restroom, and a ramada.
 
There is also a 29-acre City of Scottsdale park named Thompson Peak Park near the southwest corner of Thompson Peak and Hayden. This park has 4 lighted softball fields and 2 lighted basketball courts, a playground, and restrooms.
