For the eleventh year in a row, the Market Street shopping district at DC Ranch will be the starting and ending point for the Tour de Scottsdale. This year’s event is set for Sunday, October 12, 2014. Market Street is located at the southeast corner of Thompson Peak Parkway and Pima Road.
All proceeds from Tour de Scottsdale go to the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, the non-profit organization that protects and supports the McDowell Sonoran Preserve owned by the City of Scottsdale.

The 30 mile ride, also starting at Market Street, goes west on Thompson Peak, north on Scottsdale Road, east on Cave Creek Road and then south on Pima Road (it’s almost all downhill after the turn off Cave Creek to Pima.)
Registration is now open and limited to the first 2,000 riders. The entry fee for the 30 mile ride is $55 for individuals or $110 for tandem-riders. The 70 mile route is $70 for individual riders or $135 for tandem. All proceeds go to the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy for upkeep and completion of Scottsdale’s cherished McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
To help you get ready for the ride, there is a Kick-off Party Thursday, July 31 at FASTER Cycling.
