If you live in Scottsdale and are looking for a great way to meet new people and support our Arizona wineries, The Winemaker Luncheon Series is the perfect venue! LDV Winery and Los Milics are slated for the month of August and party-goers will be introduced to some fabulous luncheons with exciting Arizona wine pairings.
LDV, a 40-acre winery located in Southeastern Arizona has a tasting room in Scottsdale that retails their estate wines, bite pairings and gifts. It looks like this year’s harvest is coming a little sooner than expected and anyone interested in participating in the pre-harvest prep can head to the Chiricahua Mountain foothills to get in on the action. LDV welcomes volunteers to be a part of the 2017 harvest team. Not interested in getting your hands dirty? Even if you don’t want to participate in the stomping of the grapes, you’ll want to head down to the winery to enjoy their pure water, clean air and cooler temps at elevations of 5,000 feet!
The last luncheon in August features the Los Milics wine label, a collaboration between Dos Cabezas WineWorks and Pavle Milic, co-owner of FnB Restaurant. Pavle pairs local pioneering spirits with his own indomitable spirit at FnB where you will experience really good food and service in an engaging space. His wines highlight the fermented grapes of Sonoita, Arizona which produce a taste unlike anywhere else in the world. Los Milics wines can be found locally at AJ’s and Whole Foods.
Can you think of a better way to end the summer? We can’t, so reserve your spot for the August luncheons slated for August 19th and August 26, here. Each luncheon includes a three-course meal with true artisan wine pairings, is held at FnB Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, and starts at 11:00 am and ends by 2:00 pm. Tickets are $61.71 per person and include food, wine, plus tax and gratuity.
