Super Bowl XLIX: NFL Experience Tickets Now on Sale

Super Bowl XLIX: NFL Experience Tickets Now on Sale

  • 12/16/14
Super Bowl XLIX, slated for February 2015 right here in the Valley, is always a promise of super-amazing fun times. And it’s anyone’s guess where the signature party will be hosted, but what is known is that downtown Phoenix will be buzzing with activity in hosting what has been coined, “Super Bowl Central”.

Some band names expected to perform have been leaked, but we’ll wait for the Committee to finish coordinating events between the two cities, Scottsdale and Phoenix, before posting an official agenda. So, stay tuned.

A dozen downtown city blocks, east of the NFL Experience at the Phoenix Convention Center's North Building, will turn into an entertainment district destination —Fifth Street to First Avenue between Jefferson and Monroe Streets--for Super Bowl XLIX media, sponsors and fans of the Bowl happenings.

The last time the Super Bowl was played in the Valley of the Sun was back in 2008 and a whole lot has changed since then. Verizon Wireless has stepped up to the plate (oops, wrong sport) and will be the title sponsor of Verizon Super Bowl Central.

Highlights of this block party include the NFL Experience with a kid’s clinic, free autograph session, football memorabilia displays and interactive football games. But what’s hot off the press and you need to jump on this now, tickets for the NFL Experience, slated for nine consecutive days, Jan. 24 through Feb. 1, just went on sale just days ago, December 10.

Other highlights include:

  • Photo-friendly, 30-foot-tall Roman numerals
  • Four outdoor activity zones
  • Three outdoor broadcast areas for NBC, the NFL Network and others
  • Beer and wine gardens
  • Two outdoor stages
Don’t miss the NFL House at CityScape, to see and be seen with players and celebs. Try to snag some invites to sponsors’ parties where the invite-only parties will have live celebs, concerts, drinks and food. We don’t know who will be on the stages yet but we do know that the Hyatt Regency Phoenix is the NFL Headquarters, the media center is at the Convention Center and again this year, ESPN will base its coverage out of Scottsdale.

While we wait for the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee to announce the formal venue, get your house in order and make reservations for lodging since you won’t want to drive in all that chaos.

Super Bowl Central is free to the public. Bring the entire family out for the fun and stay tuned on Twitter because the word on the street is, that’s the way you’ll be the first in the know.
