You’ve been thinking about relocating to Scottsdale for its perfect weather and desirable outdoor lifestyle for some time now. Well, if you are in the market for a new job as part of your relocation, we have good news for you: Scottsdale ranked 9th out of 150 high density cities in the country in a study of the "Best Cities to Find a Job."
WalletHub measured data for 150 cities in two key categories, job market and socioeconomic environment. Job market factors included number of job opportunities, employment growth, median starting salaries and unemployment rates. Socioeconomic factors included affordability of housing, median annual incomes (adjusted for cost of living), and the percent of employed persons living under the poverty line.
Scottsdale ranked 37th for "Job Market" and 2nd for "Socioeconomic Environment", with an overall 9th place ranking.
The news for the Greater Phoenix area is positive as well with Gilbert in 3rd place, Chandler in 6th place, Peoria in 14th place and Tempe in 35th place.
These rankings, combined with some of the lowest interest rates in history and housing prices that haven’t yet started their annual spring creep up, make it an ideal time to relocate to Scottsdale and the surrounding area, as well as to purchase a home here.
