All nine Scottsdale City Council candidates will be present at a voter forum held on Tuesday, July 29th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Troon Country Club. The forum will be moderated by Bob Cappel, President of the Greater Pinnacle Peak Association, and the event is free for North Scottsdale voters.

At the forum, you will be able to meet the candidates, ask them questions and hear their views. Proposals for Greasewood Flats and Pinnacle Peak Patio will be discussed. You’ll learn how these proposals and the land acquisition for the McDowell Sonoran Preserve may affect you.
Troon Country Club is located east of Alma School Road, off Happy Valley Road at 25000 N. Windy Walk Drive, Scottsdale, 85255.
You can pre-register to attend, but it is not required.
To vote in the primary, you must be a registered voter by Monday, July 28. The primary is on Tuesday, August 26. Three city council members will be elected. To win at the primary, candidates must receive a majority of votes cast for that candidate’s race. On Tuesday, November 4, 2014 any unfilled offices after the primary will be on the ballot.
