Whether you’re a runner or just a spectator, you won't want to miss this year's P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and 1/2 Marathon slated for Sunday, January 18. It's not too late to enter and this year’s race, which snakes through Phoenix and Scottsdale and Tempe and offers a Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 2-Person Half Marathon Relay and a 10K. Each race category has a different start location, but all races end at the finish line at Tempe Beach Park for some real fanfare.
“Just” a spectator? The spectators are just as much a part of this run as the athletes. With fans cheering all along the course and local bands who keep the party rocking, this all day event is sure to bring out the best spirit the West has to offer.
The best news for those who show up just for the entertainment: this year there is a double headliner at the finish line. The post-race concert will feature The Wallflowers and OKGO.
