Every Friday evening, the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch showcases Native American tribal dancers. Guests of the Hyatt and Scottsdale residents alike are encouraged to come out to the Hyatt Fountain Court at 5:00 pm to see the majestic tradition of hoop dancing celebrated and performed by different tribes.

Known also as the "Dance of Life", hoop dancing has many different origin stories among various Native American tribes. Originally performed in groups, hoop dancing is now generally performed by one man to demonstrate the circle of life.

From week to week at the Hyatt, different tribes come in and perform their unique variations of hoop dancing.

Admission to the event is free of charge giving the audience the ability to simply enjoy the dancing and experience another culture.

If you are looking for a drink or appetizer to enjoy, the restaurant and bar surrounding the event are open for service during the show and are happy to wait on the audience. The nearby options are Alto ristorante e bar and the Center Stage Bar.
