Are you a real estate genius? Do you know your Scottsdale luxury neighborhoods? Do you just like entering contests? Well, we've got a challenge for you!
On Monday, August 17, we'll be releasing some amazing new research comparing equity appreciation between some of Scottsdale's most noteworthy neighborhoods. Here at The Matheson Team, we've been surprised by the results and decided that we'd love to see which neighborhood everyone else thinks is the big winner before the official report comes out.
To participate in contest, just fill out a list of the eight selected neighborhoods (see below) you think have appreciated most in recent years! Whomever gets the most correct will win a $100 AMEX gift card and major bragging rights.
We'll be accepting entries up to 5pm on Friday, August 14. The winner will be announced August 17 after the article goes live.
How We Measured Appreciation
For those of you that really want to get serious about this, here's how the report measures equity appreciation:
We used percentage increase in annual average price per square foot as the standard. The measurement time period is May 2011 to May 2015. The report excludes townhomes/condos and trustee sales, but includes distressed properties.
(Hint: for you Realtors out there - you should know that the report is based off of public records, not MLS data.)
