You’ll be seeing green along the banks of the Arizona Canal on St. Patrick’s Day.
Participants in the 4-mile Shamrock Run are encouraged to wear green and light the route as they run or walk with glow sticks, colorful flashlights, and anything else that shines bright! The race begins at 7 pm on March 17 at Goldwater Boulevard and the canal and continues to 56th Street, the halfway point. Participants then cross the canal and head back to the start/finish line.
Awards will be given for the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers by age.
The awards ceremony, happy hour, and raffle will begin at 8 pm at Jack’s Place Public House in Old Town Scottsdale. Jack’s Place is offering $3 well drinks, $3 domestic drafts, and $1 off entrees to Shamrock Run participants.
