The Scottsdale Art Walk, also known as “America’s First Art Walk” is a beloved, 39 year old tradition in Old Town Scottsdale. It is a weekly event that offers you experience a night on the town in Scottsdale’s Arts District.

From 7:00 to 9:00 every Thursday night (year round except Thanksgiving) the artists in residence will open their studio doors for the public to take in and admire their stunning art work. Be prepared to be surprised by the wide array of artistic styles that are represented by Scottsdale galleries, from Western traditional to cutting-edge contemporary.
Casual and eclectic, it’s a great time to visit the galleries and discover fabulous artists but also explore the rest of Old Town Scottsdale. Many folks often plan an entire evening around the art walk, including dining at one of many award winning restaurants in the surrounding area beforehand, or seeking out the bustling night life scene afterward.
Several times per year, the Scottsdale Gallery Association “pulls out all the stops” for Special Event Art Walks with live music along the streets and special themed events. These are the upcoming special events that are scheduled for the remainder of 2014.

“America’s Original ArtWalk” celebrates the kickoff to the cultural high season, with historic Scottsdale ArtWalk happening every Thursday. Galleries get active with a night full of art openings, live music, food samplings and more!
