There are two fun-filled day drives that take you up North to experience the wintery wonderland of Christmas. Now through the New Year, the Polar Express and The North Pole Experience host Santa and all the trimmings of a Holiday excursion that will delight not only the tiny tots but adults as well.
Head up to Williams, Arizona where the family can jump on The Polar Express for a train ride to the North Pole! The historical passenger cars pulled by the iconic diesel locomotives meander through the canyon as Christmas carols are sung along with the reading of The Polar Express.
There are three departure times to select from on the Williams-Grand Canyon Railway and depending on the class of service, tickets can range from $20 to $69. All seats are great seats and Santa visits everyone on the ride of a lifetime through Grand Canyon National Park!
However, if you have real little ones in the household and that’s too far of a drive, you can head up to Flagstaff, Arizona for The North Pole Experience.
Upon arrival, kiddos will jump on the trolly and ride to Santa’s workshop! Along the way you get to experience Elf University, Mrs. Claus' Bakery and Santa's mail room. The North Pole Experience is adjacent to the Little America Hotel and they have decorated the grounds with thousands of lights! Tickets range from $38 to $55, depending on whether or not you select the bus tour to see the light tour at night.
So if you think you are beyond believing, think again! The personal interaction with the elfs and your time with Santa, just might have you rethinking reality!
