Benvenuto — the 2nd annual Concours in the Hills! Come out and join car enthusiasts as they convene on the grass around the Fountain Hills fountain for a day of spectator fun.
The concept of Concours in the Hills is based on the Concorso Italiano that takes place each year in Monterey Bay, but with a slight twist. Instead of the focus being only on vehicles of Italian origin, the Concours has opened it to all brands. From pre-war classics, to muscle cars, to ultra-high performance domestic and imports, there’ll be something for everyone.
Oh, but no worries, you’ll see your fair share of Italian luxury cars– Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati — and possibly even the iconic Bugatti Veyron.
The Concours is supported through the participation of the following Arizona car clubs so the representation will be diverse:
- Audi
- Corvette
- DeLorean
- De Tomaso
- Ferrari
- Ford GT
- Jaguar
- Lamborghini
- Lotus
- Maserati
- Mercedes-Benz
- Porsche
- Viper
It’s not too late to register your car with entries expected to exceed the 220 participants in last year’s inaugural event. Of course there will be awards for best domestic, best import, best of show and people’s choice.
Check out the silent auction items and get ready to bid. This charity event raised $25,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale last year, and this year’s goal is to double that amount.
This is a family outing with food, vendors, free admission and free parking! It’s easy to find – from Scottsdale, head east on Shea Blvd, left on Palisades Blvd, right on Saguaro, left on El Lago.
