The Sugar Bowl is one of Old Town Scottsdale’s oldest attractions. It has been in operation for over 60 years with a loyal and adoring clientele.
It was opened on Christmas Eve, 1958 by Jack Huntress. The Huntress family are still co-owners of the Sugar Bowl.
Just like the ownership, the interior and exterior have remained largely unchanged. It is one of Old Town Scottsdale’s must see family attractions, whether you’re visiting from out of town or live in the city of Scottsdale inside of one of our great communities.
The menu features all the items you would expect from a classic ice cream parlor. Of course there are the classic dessert favorites including the Dusty Road Sundae which is a decadent chocolate creation, the variety of milkshakes and malts, and the classic Desireme Banana Split.
Sugar Bowl also has a regular lunch/ dinner menu that you can choose between sandwiches, burgers, and other deli style meals.
