Illumination, Symphony of Light

When: November 14 through January 5, 2020
 
Where: Tempe (2200 West Alameda Drive at the Tempe Diablo Stadium) and Glendale (6797 North 93rd Avenue in the Westgate Entertainment District)
 
Illumination, Symphony of Light is the world’s largest drive-through holiday light display. It’s $32.99 per vehicle (plus taxes and fees) on the weekends and $22.99 per vehicle (plus taxes and fees) from Monday through Thursday. Featuring more than 2 million LED lights that are synchronized and animated to classic holiday songs, this is definitely the display to see if you’re only doing one.

Lights of the World

When: November 21 through January 12
 
Where: Arizona State Fairgrounds at 1826 West McDowell Road
 
With more than 75 stunning displays featuring 10 million lights and lanterns, this beautiful holiday light display was rated among the “Top 5 Over-the-Top Holiday Lights” by USA Today. There’s also a location in Tucson if you happen to be heading south for the holidays. You’ll enjoy rides, light displays and live music at Lights of the World.

Christmas at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

When: November 26 through December 31
 
Where: The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
 
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess lights up to ring in the holidays and the new year in an enchanting display. This beautifully designed wonderland features festive decorations, more than 4 million lights and the real ice skating rink. You can roast marshmallows, grab a photo with Santa and interact with several other holiday characters.

Zoo Lights

When: November 27 through January 19
 
Where: The Phoenix Zoo
 
Immerse your family in millions of sparkling lights, hop on the Polar Slide and watch live reindeer who just happen to be off-duty each night the zoo is open. New this year is the Wildlife Lantern Safari, which features more than 60 light-up creatures from all over the world.

Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

When: November 29 through January 5
 
Where: McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
 
Light up your nights at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, where you can hitch a ride on the Paradise & Pacific Railroad through stunning light displays. On the 29th, the tree-lighting ceremony also features a special visit from a certain jolly, red-suited celebrity – and you can even enter to win the park’s Ugly Sweater Contest.
