Scottsdale proudly boasts being one of the most livable cities in the country! In last year’s annual ranking of the top 100 best places to live in America, we placed at number 40! While that is quite an accolade, it’s just not quite good enough.
So the City of Scottsdale wants to hear from their residents on how they are doing. A random sample of 1,500 online surveys were sent out earlier this month and the results will be compared to hundreds of other cities across the nation. If you weren’t included in the sample, you are being encouraged to fill out the survey here. It will take approximately 15 minutes of your time and you are guaranteed anonymity. The city will use the results to determine where and how to improve on city services and amenities.
But while we work our way up to the top of the chart, we currently have bragging rights for what we do really well here in Scottsdale.

For every adult and child living in Scottsdale the income per capita is $51,564 with a median household income of $72,455. Those figures trend to strong consumer buying power.

A continuous low unemployment rate, solid job market and high consumer buying power has attracted world class malls and shops to Scottsdale.
