Get a glimpse into some of the greatest culinary minds in the country at Sanctuary Camelback Resort and Spa this month.

The Scottsdale resort’s Lunch & Learn series, now in its 14th year, features guest chefs or other culinary experts discussing their trade—what inspires them, what motivates them, and what it’s like to work in some of the world’s finest restaurants. As they dish, you enjoy a three-course meal with paired wine.

Despite the series’ name, only about half of the events are lunches. Lunches begin at 12 p.m. and are $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Dinners begin at 6 p.m. and are $125 plus tax and gratuity. To make a reservation for an upcoming lunch or dinner, call (855) 245-2051.

When you make your Lunch & Learn reservation, ask about the resort’s special room rate of $199 (excluding tax and resort fees). Since you are already there, you might as well make a night of it!

The series kicked off back in July but runs through August 29 with a final dinner event scheduled for October 16. Here’s the schedule of remaining events:

Saturday, August 15 — “Southern Charm” Lunch Event

Native North Carolinan chef Lindsay Autry shares her experiences as a Top Chef finalist (Season 9) and the owner of Fin & Feather, a Palm Beach catering company with a Southern twist.

Saturday, August 22 — “The Dead Rabbit NYC” Lunch Event

What’s it like to manage the best cocktail bar in America? Jillian Vose, bar manager at The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog, returns to the Sanctuary to tell all and demonstrate the fine art of cocktail making.

Join Matt Schweitzer, owner of Hilltop Kitchen and Marrow Kitchen & Bar, as he journeys through modern American cuisine through the filter of the Pacific Northwest and discusses the incredible ingredients of the region.

October 16 — Dinner Event

As an author, food critic, and frequent guest on Food Network shows such as Extreme ChefCutthroat Kitchen, and Iron ChefSimon Majumdar brings his unique perspective to this final event of the series.

Now is a great time to step into one of the best resorts in the Valley and check out their fine dining for yourself.
