Don Matheson sits down with Scottsdale’s City Manager, David Richert. Don and David Richert discuss the role of City Manager in Scottsdale and David’s upcoming plans. The City Manager is responsible for implementing policies set by the City Council and oversees delivery of services. The 2011 Scottsdale General Plan is is focusing on revitalization and maintain authenticity of the southwest. The focused growth areas are McDowell Road Corridor, Downtown Scottsdale growth, Shea Corridor area and the Scottsdale business airpark.
