Passport to Art

Meet local artist Jake Fischer on Thursday, May 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Desert Camp Community Center. Fischer is a Phoenix native and a master of fine arts candidate at Arizona State University’s Drawing and Painting program. He works primarily with traditional mediums like charcoal and oil to create two-dimensional pieces that juxtapose tangible and intangible aspects of the everyday experience.
