Looking for a unique dining experience? Look no further because The Simple Farm and The Scottsdale Resort have partnered to bring you an 8-month farm-to-kitchen supper series.
The three-course menus will change from month-to-month, but be prepared to be wowed by themes such as Campfire Chuck Wagon Cooking, Milk Can Prairie Style Cookout and Native American Style Wood Fire Cooking. The meals are an opportunity for participants to intimately share a family-style dinner with ingredients straight from farm–to-table.
If you elect to dine at The Simple Farm, an organic farm in North Scottsdale acclaimed for their handmade caramels, diners will get to meet and pet the Nubian goats during the pre-supper tour of the organic farm. Note that we did not say, dinner! Supper is served under the stars at the farm’s wooden garden table complete with burlap table runner at this one-of-a-kind culinary experience!
If that sounds a little too rustic for your dining preference you can enjoy the supper series at The Scottsdale Resort in its newly renovated open kitchen dining room with stunning golf course views. This summer the resort completed a $10 million dollar renovation with a focus on guest amenities and culinary offerings. The Kitchen West Restaurant debuted this fall with a modern interpretation of Southwestern cooking featuring the bold flavors and spirits with a unique Western flare.
There will be an opportunity to dine with local farmers, the resort’s chef and other scheduled guests throughout the series. Dates and locations for the Friday evening culinary experience are: October 28, November 18, January 27, March 24, and May 19 at The Simple Farm and December 16, February 24, and April 28 at Kitchen West Restaurant at The Scottsdale Resort.
